* 2007 -- ak.local.yahoo.biz/tekul : You can't miss it . . . A large yurt, the only one so visible in town, stands in view from college road. You are greeted by two young men dressed in traditional Ethiopian outfits, cheerful and so eager to serve you. The old Ethiopian flag (with the lion of Judah) hangs symbolically at the ordering window. An impressive array of exotic food choices from beef, and vegetables are listed on the menu. The wot (stew) of the day features one of the many choices, intended to keep the customers happy!
Tekul was happy to open just in time for the special celebration of Ethiopian Millennium on September 11, 2007. Please come and join us for this celebration. Tekul will also be catering Ethiopian food as well as sell batches of injera (order in advance). Selam
